National Museum of the Pacific War: Formerly the Nimitz Museum, the complex is now America's only museum centered on World War II's Pacific campaign. Enchanted Rock State Park: Enormous pink rock dome that rises 325 feet above a small stream. Fredericksburg Herb Farm: "Liked it so much, we were married here!" Pioneer Museum Complex: This unique museum is spread out over 4 acres, and includes a general store, barn, and blacksmith shop among other 19th-century styled exhibits. Old Tunnel Wildlife Management Area: Area that contains a great nature trail and an abandoned railroad tunnel filled with two million bats. Willow City Loop: Scenic drive Enchanted Rock Cave: An interesting cave located within the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area. Admiral Nimitz State Historic Site: History museum; Historic site Nimitz Book and Gift Shop: Specialty shop Enchanted Rock Fissure: Cavern/cave A World of Miniatures Museum: A museum displaying miniature buildings, from the town schoolhouse to a European monastery. |
