Recorded Texas Historic Landmark

The parlor and dining room are furnished with antiques of the period and the original decor has been restored including Victorian ceiling paper. All of the woodwork throughout the house has been returned to its rich, former mahogany finish and is highlighted by European lace curtains. The large early Texas kitchen projects a family oriented ambience, including a traditional large round table.

The result of years of research, the history of the house has been carefully documented and presented in this special room.

Main House Suites

HEINRICH SUITE
This Victorian appointed suite consists of bedroom, parlor and private bath. The suite is split level with the entrance and parlor on the first floor and bedroom and bath on the 2nd. The bedroom features an antique queen size bed, antique wardrobe and dresser in a blue decor highlighted by European lace curtains. It opens onto the 2nd floor porch which is furnished with wicker pieces. The elegant parlor with large armoire contains wet bar, refrigerator and television. The private bath has a shower and tub, and embellishes the suite's blue ambience.

FREIDRICH SUITE
An elegant 2nd floor suite consisting of bedroom, parlor and private bath. The bedroom has a full size bed, antique wardrobe and dresser with the decor blending green and beige framed by European lace curtains. It opens onto a large 2nd floor gallery with wicker furniture. The parlor is traditional Victorian with large armoire containing wet bar, refrigerator and television. The private bath, with shower and tub, compliments the decor of the suite.

ANNA CATHERINE ROOM
The bedroom is furnished in antique pieces with a queen size bed, wardrobe and dresser. The decor is shades of rose and lavender. The lavender bath has a large, claw-footed porcelain tub and is accompanied by a separate shower.

Carriage House Suites

'Lil CATHERINE SUITE
This very large suite consists of parlor, bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, wardrobe and dresser with an elaborate coffee station hidden within a wall compartment. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub. The parlor has a sleeper couch. It is decorated in a faux technique in shades of brown by artist Tom Proch.

SOPHIE SUITE
This very large suite is the mirror image of the 'Lil Catherine Suite. The decor, in shades of green, was created by artist Tom Proch, and features a bedroom, parlor and bathroom. The bedroom has a queen size bed, wardrobe and dresser. The bathroom has a shower and tub. The coffee station is hidden within a wall compartment.

On the second floor over both the 'Lil Catherine and Sophie Suites is an apartment which can be used as another B&B suite or a small living quarters for the owner operator.
